Colloquio telefonico Conte e Merkel

Roma – Il Presidente Conte e la Cancelliera Merkel hanno avuto stamani una lunga conversazione telefonica dedicata interamente all’emergenza Coronavirus. Entrambi i Leader hanno convenuto che tale pandemia vada posta al primo posto dell’agenda europea tanto sul piano sanitario, che sul quello degli effetti economici.

Nel corso della conversazione, e’ stata ribadita l’esigenza del più ampio coordinamento e collaborazione europea a tale riguardo e la convinzione che dovranno essere adottate tutte e misure necessarie per far fronte a tale emergenza globale.

La Cancelliera Merkel ha ribadito la piena solidarietà della Germania nei confronti dell’Italia, che in questo momento è in prima linea nel far fronte a tale eccezionale sfida.

This morning President Conte and Chancellor Merkel had a long phone conversation entirely dedicated to the Coronavirus emergency. The two Leaders agreed that the pandemic must be placed at the top of the European agenda both in terms of health and economic effects.

During  the conversation, they reiterated the need for the widest European coordination and partnership in this regard  as well as the belief that all necessary measures must be taken to deal with this global emergency.

Chancellor Merkel reaffirmed Germany’s full solidarity with Italy, which is currently at the forefront in tackling this exceptional challenge.
